Palm South is sunny corner room located on the second floor and at the front of the building and features its own personal porch space, high above Spanish Street. The compact room features a queen bed and a welcoming in-room corner spa bathtub for two - perfect for relaxing after a full day of St. Augustine adventures.

Palm North is a bright corner room with a personal porch area overlooking charming Spanish Street. This compact room features a metal frame queen bed and 1930's antique armoire. The private bathroom comes complete with a jetted bathtub and shower.

While the Orchid may be our most reasonably priced room; it continues to offer all the comforts one could ask for, such as a vintage inspired queen metal bed frame, antique double armoire, and a private bathroom with jetted bathtub/shower.

Private Carriage Tour
Whether for a romantic tour or a fun-filled ride with friends - A narrated carriage tour of the historic downtown district is a perfect way to enjoy a back-roads tour of the oldest city. The carriage will pick you up and once you've completed the tour, return you to the inn. Have dinner in mind? We can often arrange for the carriage to drop you off at one many downtown restaurants instead of the inn. Then following dinner, home is an easy stroll away, since 44 Spanish Street Inn happens to have one of the BEST locations in St. Augustine.

Castillo de San Marcos
The Castillo de San Marcos is the oldest masonry fort in the continental United States. Located on the western shore of Matanzas Bay in the city of St. Augustine, Florida, the fort was designed by the Spanish engineer Ignacio Daza.
St Augustine Lighthouse

Old Jail/Florida Heritage Museum
Listed in the National Registry of Historic Places, The Old Jail is a must-visit when in St. Augustine! Built to look like a hotel in the Romanesque Revival style and painted in an unassuming color, visitors will find that the Old Jail has been renovated to give tourists a glimpse into the daily lives of St. Augustine’s most notorious prisoners living under the penal system of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Costumed actors tell tales of the jail and its occupants, and even book you as an inmate! Additionally, the Old Jail has a large collection of weapons and artifacts for you to inspect up close and is one of just a few prisons of its kind still standing that makes for a great day of sightseeing on a historical adventure.
